First off I love the idea of participating in #inktober. However the reality of the situation is just that I do not have time. In fact I have so little time that I can’t get the next 4 pages done to get to a proper climatic finish. At the moment this comic takes up too much of my time to justify spending more on it right now. I have a Son & Family and I need to spend my time on projects that bring in money. So I’m forced to put my Comic back on hiatus. I’ve used up all of my pages in the bank and I’m just without the time to continue. I think I’ll be able to finish page 60 for sometime next week but after that my family has greater need.
It’s not all bad for me, I’ve got some very cool potential jobs lined up that I’ll keep everyone updated on. Clark will be going to school soon, which should open things up more as well. But I’ve been neglectful of many little things including finding more freelance work, some small things around the house, even keeping up with additions to this site has been too much. So I need to simplify for now.
Thank you so much to everyone who’s been reading. As a testimate to #inktober, here is my submission for #underwater, as I feel like I am. My half finished page 60. I will be back up as soon as I can. #love

Hey everyone, Episode 2 will begin posting next Tuesday. I’m hoping with the increased nanny detail that I’ll be able to keep up with my page a week pace.
In the meantime here is Episode 5 of How I draw Way of the Undead Fist. This one is all about penciling. I also want to thank Bill, Laura, James and of course My mom for pledging my paetron account. I’m planning to create characters for you guys in some of the upcoming issues. I also want to thank my Wife who lets me waste a lot of time doing this thing that I love. <3 And of course I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read the book, and even more those who have dropped me a line. It really has kept me going. Talk to you all next week.
Hey everyone, sorry for the long drought. I’ve been working hard getting episode 2 up and ready to start release. It’s been a full year since my initial post of a full lettered Way of the Undead Fist page 1. I’ve had a lot going on. My wife and I finally finalized the adoption of our son Clark. We could not be happier. But between being a Stay at home dad, part timing at Starbucks for benefits and doing freelance animation & Design gigs when I can get them, drawing my dream comic falls down in my list of priorities. Still I am determined to carry on and I have new pages which will start going up for you all on June 20th. I’ll even throwing in some drawing tutorials. With the adoption finalized it frees me up a little bit. We’ve got more help in the nanny department and I’m getting some more time to get things acomplished.
The following is a mock comic review clip I shot for a potential webisode. I don’t think they even looked at it. meh. They asked me to talk about my favorite comic, and I did. Starman. Yeah it’s a little older as a comic but hey, so am I. It’s difficult putting yourself out there. I always tell people that I support people who create things because it takes real courage to put yourself out there. Always be proud of that. Anyway, Enjoy. The comic is awesome, my rabblings are okay. I’m thinking about doing more. However I’d like to get this comic going again and soon. Thanks for checking back.
Update : The Surgury has happened. Hugh & His dad are doing fine. The Kidney seems to be functioning. Everything seems to be in the green. I wanted to truly say thank you to everyone who donated to help Hugh & his family with the medical bills. I’m working hard to not go into a “why we need medicare for all” rant. At the moment, I’m just happy and grateful that a good friend is going to be around a while longer.
Again thank you all so much.
Hey everyone. Thank you to everyone who clicked on the link for my friend Hugh’s You Caring fundraising page for his Kidney Transplant. And even more to those who donated. We’re about over half way to the goal but more is needed. If you haven’t pledged but have a buck to spare, it would mean a lot to a good man and friend to help him & his family get back on their feet after a difficult & expensive medical procedure.
Now to the Video. This one is much longer than the last one, however as I did not have really to much more to add with pen technique I decided to discuss a little Story boarding and Character Design. Thank you to everyone who has been coming back during this hiatus of Way of the Undead Fist. I’m working hard to try and have enough done by my deadline of June. I appreciate you all sticking with me, I just want this book to be as awesome as it can. =) Thank you and enjoy.
