I love this single person conversation the Jiang-shi has with himself. I feel that to have gone through such an ordeal as dying and returning with a new personality in the ruins of your old life must be an almost beyond traumatic experience for someone. I was trying to use this page to show how this character’s earthly sins of pride and envy has been fully corrupted by his undead self. So much that he is nearly out of his mind over someone simply not reacting to him. Hope you guys enjoy. I also liked how these “Talking Heads” came out. Very proud of them. =)
Good stuff. There is so much mileage to be had from the seven deadly sins and seven cardinal virtues … but it took a really good horror film (Se7en) to reacquaint pop culture with them.
Thanks so much! Yeah Catholicism has created mountains of material on the seven deadly sins. Discussing not only the sins but creating variations of the sin. For example Gluttony has 5 variations, Eating too much, too soon, too expensively, too eagerly and even too daintily. It’s like someone at the Vatican found a Thesaurus and had some free time. =)
